₹250–400 an hour, paid straight to your UPI
Record everyday work — household tasks, warehouse work — mostly on the phone you already own. We pay for every hour of recording that passes our quality check. The money goes straight to your UPI, with nobody in between and nothing taken out.
We publish this rate on a public page instead of quoting it privately, person by person. That is deliberate: a rate you can read is a rate you can hold us to.
We are still setting this up. No brief has opened yet, and nobody has been paid yet — we have not connected a payment service. We are registering people now so that when the first brief opens in your city, you are already on the list. These are the terms you will be paid on when it does.
Direct UPI Payouts
We pay ₹250–400/hr for recording that passes the quality check. It goes to you by UPI, with no agent in the middle and nothing deducted.
This page never asks for your payment details. You set your UPI ID inside the Capture Partner app, after you are matched to a brief — so it is never sitting in a public form.
The camera you start with
For most briefs it is the phone you already own — see What phone do I need? below. Some briefs need a wearable camera instead, such as a Ray-Ban Meta or a GoPro headrig, and where a brief needs one we supply it along with the training to use it. No brief has opened yet, so we are registering partners by city and domain ahead of the work rather than the other way round.
What a session actually looks like
Seven steps, start to finish. This is the app as it is built today, not a plan for one — the parts that are not finished are named as such.
Step 1
Sign in
In your phone's browser. There is nothing to install and nothing to download from a store.
Step 2
Pick a brief
A brief says what to record, where, and for roughly how long — for example two-handed kitchen work in a home kitchen. You choose the ones you want. You are never assigned one.
Step 3
Give consent for that brief
A separate step, and it is per brief rather than once forever. It is written into a ledger you can be shown, and you can withdraw it later — by email today, from inside the app once that button is built.
Step 4
Record
Do the task normally. Signal is not needed for this part — once a brief is consented to you can record out of range, and it waits on the phone until you are back.
Step 5
Your phone checks it before it sends
Sharpness and light are measured on your phone, against the same two numbers our server uses. So a clip that was too dark or too shaky tells you in seconds — before you spend data sending it.
Step 6
Upload when it suits you
Pause on mobile data, finish on Wi-Fi. An upload that was cut off starts again from the exact point the server already has, so you never send the same part of a video twice.
Step 7
Review, then payment
Faces in the footage are blurred automatically before anyone looks at it. A clip that passes review is a clip we owe you for. Founder decision How many days the money then takes is not settled, and we will not guess at it.
Before you sign up
What phone do I need?
An Android phone or iPhone that records 1080p video, with a few gigabytes free. The app runs in your browser — there is nothing to install from a store. Before anything uploads, it checks the sharpness and lighting of your clip on your phone, using the same numbers our server uses, so you find out in seconds instead of after paying to send it.
Who pays for the mobile data?
You do, and the app is built so you decide when. Nothing uploads while you are offline. You can pause any upload and start it again on Wi-Fi — it carries on from the point the server already has, so you never send the same part of a video twice.
When does the money actually arrive?
On QA approval — that is, once a clip has passed the quality check. Founder decision How many days that takes is not settled yet, and we will not guess at it here. It will be published on this page before the first brief opens, not after you have already recorded.
Who do I talk to?
[email protected]. That reaches the two people who run this company, not a support queue. There is no call centre, and there is no agent between you and us — which is the same reason there is no deduction from your pay.
What if I want to stop?
Stop whenever you like — there is nothing to cancel and no notice to give. If you want to withdraw consent for something you have already recorded, email us: we withdraw it in the consent ledger and delete the footage and everything made from it. A button for this inside the app is being built. Until it exists the email is the route, and it works.
Become a Capture Partner
Three short steps. Your details go straight into the queue the founders work from, and a person — not a bot — reads them. You get a reference id on screen when it is stored.
